About Us
South Staffordshire First Responders was founded in 2004, starting out in the villages of Wombourne, Pattingham, Codsall, Kinver and Perton. Over the years, the charity has expanded out to more and more areas of the South Staffordshire peninsula, moving into more areas such as Bilbrook, Trysull and Swindon.
Over the years, the scheme has grown in number, starting with 2 members and now pushing up to 20 members actively responding in the community, with more still to come.
We have a group of trustees who are a mix of responding members to members of the public who have supported the charity for many years, Our trustees help us decide what direction to take the charity.
We are a dedicated group of volunteers who give up our days, evenings and weekends to help the members of the community of the south Staffordshire peninsula. We respond to the most urgent calls on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service, such as cardiac arrests, strokes, chest pain and much more.
